Weed removal proposed for Lake Marburg

A proposal before the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is to rid sections of the lake of aquatic vegetation and grasses. The plan is to spray herbicide in specific sections to kill the weed growth. Boaters complain of propellers becoming wrapped with weeds and anglers who fish from the bank say it is hard to land fish because of the dense growth. READ MORE
