There is plenty to do in and around the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk Hotel – located less than 10 miles (~15 minutes) from the San Antonio airport. The Hotel opens directly on to the San Antonio Riverwalk with numerous shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The historic Alamo is a 3-4-minute walk away. Visit the Official San Antonio web site for other attractions and ideas in and around the city. Remember, San Antonio is at the southern end of Texas Hill Country, one of the most beautiful regions in the country. Rolling hills, spring fed rivers and lakes, diverse art and music offerings, specialty shopping and numerous wineries await. Many of the towns from New Braunfels to Boerne to Fredericksburg reflect their German settlement and influence dating to the 1830s.
